Miss Michelle
Miss Michelle, born on 9th April 1977 Michelle started dancing at the age of 3 with the Deanne King School of Dancing. She trained also at Kilburn School of Dance and danced in many county productions. As well as performing for a year in theatre productions. Having always had a love of working with children Miss Michelle qualified as a nursery nurse in 1996 and spent many years working a private nanny. During this period she continued to support her dance teacher as an assistant dance teacher from the age of 14. She then decided to pursue her career as a dance teacher where she holds her Associate Teachers Qualification in Ballet, Tap, Modern Stage and Musical Theatre with the NATD , and later founded The Michelle Randles School of Dancing in 2004 and the rest is history. In August 2016 Miss Michelle completed her training in Acro dance and is a certified teacher with the Acrobatic arts syllabus, As well as completing the new Early movers programme designed for Pre school children with the NATD.
Miss Leah
Leah has trained at MRSOD since the age of 3 and has been assisting dance classes since she was 11 years old. She has performed at many West End theatres such as Her Majesty's Theatre, Saddlers Wells , The O2 and the Royal Albert Hall and at Disneyland Paris. Leah is a valued member of the team and a much loved part of the faculty. She is an extremely talented and inspirational dancer to many of our students and she helps to bring out the best in our pupils. Leah has completed her A Levels in English, Psychology and Chemistry and has recently started her Children and Young Person's Nursing BSc (Hons) at the University of Northampton. She continues to train at MRSOD 4 days a week and regularly covers lessons for Miss Michelle.
Connor
Connor has been part of MRSOD all his life and started dancing at the age of 5 years. He found a love of breakdance and trained as a BBoy with the IDC crew and performed in numerous communities shows and competitions. Whilst taking his GCSE dance Connor realised that he wants to turn his passion for dance into a career. He joined the Addict Youth Dance Academy training in ballet, tap, jazz, commercial and hip-hop dance and then successfully gained a place to train full time at Addict Dance academy college in Leicester. Connor then spent a further 5 years working hard and has now completing his BTEC in performing Arts (dance), his HND degree in performing arts (dance) and BA (HONS) in dance performance. Connor is continuing to dance professionally as well as teaching and Choregraphing for MRSOD, he is heavily involved with our show routines, event performances and Competition routines which is also something he loves to do. Connors credits include performing at the London lifestyle awards with Beverly Knight, Birmingham pride and he has worked in London on music videos and continues to audition for professional roles within the industry. His most recent contract saw him performing in Abu Dhabi for Warner bros and Carnival cruise ships.
We love the wealth of knowledge that Connor brings to the dance school from the current dance industry, and he is a much loved member the team.
