Miss Michelle, born on 9th April 1977 Michelle started dancing at the age of 3 with the Deanne King School of Dancing. She trained also at Kilburn School of Dance and danced in many county productions. As well as performing for a year in theatre productions. Having been an assistant teacher for Miss Deanne and supporting her with the running of her dance school since the age of 14. She then decided to pursue her career as a dance teacher where she holds her Associate Teachers Qualification in Ballet, Tap and Modern Stage with the NATD , and later founded The Michelle Randles School of Dancing in 2004 and the rest is history. In August 2016 Miss Michelle completed her training in Acro dance and is a certified teacher with the Acrobatic arts syllabus.
Miss Lucy, born 11 August 1998 started dancing at the age of two at Deanne King School of Dancing in Stanwick. She joined Michelle Randles School of Dancing in 2008 where she since has performed at Her Majesty's Theatre in The West End, The Royal Albert Hall and Disney Land Paris. Miss Lucy started helping in class in 2012 and has since taken on a teacher role within the school with her own classes. She has taken various NATD exams in ballet, tap and modern styles and in June 2019, graduated at The University of Northampton having completed a Psychology with Education Studies degree. Currently, Miss Lucy is working with the NHS as a trainee education mental health practitioner while studying for her post graduate degree at The University of Northampton.
Born on the 14th of November 1991, Abbi started dancing at the age of 3. Aged 7, she also began Rhythmic Gymnastics at school. She went on to represent her school, very successfully, in numerous competitions.
She began coaching at the age of 12 and completed her Level 1 coaching course at the age of 14. She continues to coach at Northampton Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, having obtained her Level 2 qualification 2 years ago. She now coaches in a number of schools and clubs around Northamptonshire.
Miss Rachel Born on the 10th March 1998, Miss Rachel has danced with Michelle Randles School Of Dancing since the school opened in 2004, She has achieved so many of her dreams and had the opportunity to perform at venues such as; Her majesty's Theatre London, West end, Disney Land Paris and The Royal Albert hall. Recently having completed her level 3 diploma and HNC & HND degree at College, Miss Rachel has had the opportunity to study musical theatre and create and perform in lots of shows; including the musical 'A Chorus Line'. Miss Rachel currently works at a secondary school teaching expressive arts, Working at Sporty holiday club during the holidays and running 'Perform' with one of her past teachers. She enjoys leading dance, singing and sport sessions. At weekends Miss Rachel works with Kelly’s Princess Parties as a character performer, attending, and often leading, children’s parties. This includes singing, dancing, party games and activities etc. Miss Rachel is a performing arts, sports teacher and training to be a designated safe guarding lead, as keeping your children safe is her passion.
Miss Sophie has been singing professionally since she left school in 1989, starting out as an actress with The National Youth Theatre working with Matt Lucas (Little Britain) and began teaching 15 years ago. Miss Sophie has released 3 studio albums, toured internationally and was the very first artist to perform on the main stage at London's O2 Arena! As a teacher she has a busy private studio and is also a coach for ITV's The Voice. She is constantly training and going on courses to further her expertise in all things singing. Miss Sophie is currently in the middle of a Master's Degree and is research Hing the benefits of singing on the well-being of victims suffering with stroke and dementia. She provides music therapy in a brain injury unit on a weekly basis. Miss Sophie also manages to find the time to run 3 weekly choirs too! In her spare time she collects all things Sindy doll from the 1980's, is a stationary obsessive and loves afternoon tea and licourice!
Connor has been part of MRSOD all his life and started dancing at the age of 5 years. He found a love of breakdance and trained as a BBoy with the IDC crew and performed in numerous community shows and competitions. Whilst taking his GCSE dance Connor realised he wanted to study dance further and joined the Addict Youth Dance Academy training in ballet, tap, jazz and commercial and hip hop dance. To this day Connor is still training at Addict Dance academy in Leicester and in June 2020 he successfully passed his BTEC in performing Arts (dance). Connor is now studying for his HND degree in performing arts (dance) and hopes to continue his passion for dance in the hip hop commercial industry as well as teaching dance which is also something Connor loves to do.
Leah has trained at MRSOD since the age of 3 and has been assisting dance classes since she was 11 years old. Leah is a valued member of the team and a much loved part of the faculty. She is an extremely talented and inspirational dancer to many of our students and she helps to bring out the best in our pupils. Leah is currently taking her A Levels in English, Psychology and Chemistry and continues to train at MRSOD 6 days a week.
